SMALL ENGINE REPAIR SERVICE

A $45.00 deposit is required upfront for all repairs unless you're a government agency or have an open account with us. It covers our labor cost for inspecting, diagnostic testing & estimating your equipment. It also helps cover our time & cost to deal with and scrap out un-repaired, un-claimed abandoned equipment. 

You will be charged $45.00 labor on the final invoice if you decide not to have your equipment repaired. 

 

If you approve our estimate your $45.00 deposit is applied towards the cost of your repair and ultimately there is NO-CHARGE for inspecting, diagnostic testing & estimating unless its a generator electrical repair "see below."

 

If the repair is approved by the manufacture to be covered under their warranty coverage the $45.00 deposit is refunded when you pick up your equipment.

If your equipment is not worth repairing and you paid a $45.00 deposit it can be applied towards purchasing brand new equipment from us if you choose. It's no-loss protection for you.

Generator electrical diagnostic troubleshooting, testing and estimates are not free.

They require more time & expertise. The cost is $105.00 per hour. Electrical troubleshooting normally does not exceed one hour but sometimes it may. It may also require replacing parts to verify a diagnoses. In either case we would notify you upfront before performing any troubleshooting test or replacing of any parts. There is not a diagnostic charge if the repairs are covered under a manufactures warranty.

Our hourly labor rate ? Our hourly shop labor rate is currently at $95.00 per hour. 

It's $105.00 per hour for all generator electrical repairs.

Do I need an appointment?  Yes & No. No appointment is normally needed for hand held equipment. But when we get backed up on repairs it can be required for large  equipment and generators larger than 3000 watts. We recommend calling first before dropping off large equipment or generators over 3000 watts to check if an appointment is required.

 

How long will it take ? All repairs are inspected on a first come first serve basis unless a $30.00 rush fee is requested. Wait times to have your equipment inspected, tested, diagnosed & estimated can range anywhere from just one day to multiple weeks during our peak season. Most repairs will normally be completed within one or two days after being approved by you ( or ) the same day it's inspected if you request 'repair as needed' with no estimate required. If we have to special order parts it will normally add three to five more business days unless parts are factory back ordered from our distributor. Factory backordered parts can occasionally add multiple months.

The estimate & repair process in a nutshell. Each repair starts with the inspection, diagnosis and then call to you with an estimate. The average process requires about 30 minutes of our time. We give you that time at no charge if your estimate is approved for repair unless its a generator electrical repair. Some estimates can require more diagnostic time if a major tear down is needed. You would be notified upfront about the cost & time required before we proceed. Once a repair is authorized we complete the repairs or special order parts if needed. Once a repair is completed its test ran and inspected for proper operation. In conclusion we promise to never exceed our estimates as agreed upon with our customer. We promise to only use brand new genuine OEM parts unless otherwise discussed with the customer as an option. In conclusion all repairs are guaranteed for 30 days and it's our goal to make sure you're completely satisfied with the quality of our service.

REPAIR CHECK LIST 

• Pressure Washers - We only repair the Top Gun brand pressure washers we sell. We need the wand & hose for testing, we cannot repair pressure washers without them.

• Chainsaws - We need the bar, chain & chain brake for testing & tuning. We cannot repair chainsaws without them. Click here for a service tip.
